U.S. Soccer Coaching Department Announces Location for Winter 2002 Youth License Course  
CHICAGO (Thursday, October 18, 2001) - The Jekyll Island Sports Complex in Jekyll Island, Georgia, will host the 2002 U.S. Soccer Youth License course from January 2-7, 2002. Located on a barrier island off the southern coast of Georgia, Jekyll Island has built a reputation for its high quality natural grass soccer fields and the unique oceanside atmosphere. U.S. Soccer has previously hosted National "A", "B", "C" and Youth Licenses at the Jekyll Island facilities.

The mission of the U.S. Soccer Youth License is to provide the most current information on the development of the youth soccer player. Eligible candidates must have earned a National "D" License or have permission from their State Director of Coaching.
