U.S. U-17 '90s Fall 2-0 to France

The U.S. Under-17 ’90 Men’s National Team fell to France 2-0 during the Disney Soccer Showcase in Orlando, Fla. The match was just the second international for the squad.

After a scoreless first half, France was able to find the net twice during the second half as U.S. goalkeeper Josh Lambo was kept busy. The first goal came in the 42nd minute when Guillame buried a cross from Hardid Ebrard. The second goal came in the 60th minute when Yann Ekra stole a pass and slipped the ball to Henri Saivet, who finished past Lambo.

The USA’s best opportunity came in the first half when Alex Dixon got free on goal, but the French ‘keeper was able to knock the ball from his feet before getting off a shot.
