A revised edition of the 1998 publication "Advice to Referees on the Laws of the Game" has been released.

This publication updates the information in the original edition to conform to the 2001/2001 edition of the Laws of the Game and incorporates guidance from the June 2000 edition of the FIFA Questions and Answers to the Laws of the Game.

The Advice should be given the widest possible dissemination.

The update to the Advice was prepared by Jim Allen and Dan Heldman, with extensive input from Ulrich Strom (NC), Gil Weber (FL), Wally Beaumont (WA) and Bob Wertz (LA).

Copies of the Advice to Referees on the Laws of the game can be purchased from the Referee Department. The cost is $4.95 plus 10% shipping and handling. Credit card orders can be placed by calling 312-528-1215. Orders can be faxed to 312-808-9572.
