U-18 MNT Holds Second Camp of 2006 at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla.

BRADENTON, Fla. (March 7, 2006) - The U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team defeated the U.S. Under-17 '89 Men's National Team 2-0 this afternoon at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

In a close match, Casey Townsend found the game-winner off an assist from Ryan Thomas in the 33rd minute, while Eber Martinez added the second tally when he finished a penalty kick in the 90th minute.

The U-17s and U-18s both had eight shots during the game, but the U-17s couldn't sneak one by 'keepers Warren Gross (first half) or Matt Brutto (second half).

The U-18 Men's National Team is holding their second camp of the year in Bradenton and will next face the U-17 '90 MNT on Thursday, March 9.
