BRADENTON, Fla. (April 1, 2006) - Behind two goals from Peri Marosevic, the U.S. Under-17 ’89 Men’s National Team defeated the University of New Mexico, 2-1, on April 1 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

The U.S. took the lead in the 22nd minute when Marosevic finished a pass from Kyle Davies, but the Lobos struck back with the equalizer in the 61st minute. Just three minute later though, Marosevic drove home the game-winner when he buried a pass from Jeremy Hall.

The U-17 ‘89s will host the University of North Carolina for their next match in Bradenton, on April 14.
