U-17 '89 MNT Down UNC 3-2  

BRADENTON, Fla. (April 15, 2006) - The U-17 ’89 Men’s National Team got two goals in the final 10 minutes to defeat the University of North Carolina, 3-2, on Saturday (April 15) at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

The U.S. got on the board first when Anthony Wallace converted a penalty kick in the 23rd minute, but UNC bounced back with goals from Ben Hunter (65th minute) and Cameron Lewis (76th) to take the lead late in the game.

With less than 10 minutes remaining, Jeremy Hall and Josmer Altidore combined twice to provide the U.S. with the victory. In the 81st minute, Hall finished off a pass from Altidore to pull even and then returned the favor as Altidore buried his game-winning shot.
