U-17 '90 MNT Defeat Illinois OPD '89/90  
BRADENTON, Fla. (January 14, 2006) - The U.S. Under-17 '90 Men's National Team defeated the Illinois ODP ('89/90), 2-0, this afternoon in their first match of 2006 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Jared Jeffrey and Abdus Ibrahim tallied in the first half, while the U.S. defense held the ODP squad to just two shots on goal in the entire match to give goalkeeper Josh Lambo a shutout.

The U.S. will next face the Georgia State Team on Jan. 16 before playing a rematch against the Illinois OPD on Jan. 18.
