BRADENTON, Fla. (January 16, 2006) - The U.S. Under-17 '90 Men's National Team defeated the Illinois ODP ('89/90), 3-1, this afternoon at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Axel Levry opened the scoring in the 12th minute, finishing off a pass from Kirk Urso, but the ODP squad found the equalizer just two minutes later.
Brandon Tarr broke the stalemate two minutes after halftime, burying a pass from Alex Dixon. The U.S. put the game away in the 83rd minute when Sheanon Williams slotted home a penalty kick.
