U-17 '89 MNT Defeat Illinois ODP 4-1  

BRADENTON, Fla. (January 14, 2006) - The U-17 ’89 Men’s National Team scored four unanswered goals to defeat the Illinois '88s, 4-1, this afternoon at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.


The Illiniois ODP took the lead in the 25th minute when Kyle Luetkehans buried one of just four shots they had on the day.

The U.S. was in control the rest of the way as Jeremy Hall pulled even in the 31st minute, and Anthony Wallace, Peri Marosevic and Brandon Tarr all tallied in the second half.

The U.S. will take on the Illinois ODP '88s once again on Jan. 16 in Bradenton.
