U-17 '89 MNT Roll Over Illinois ODP '88  

BRADENTON, Fla. (January 16, 2006) - For the second time in three days, the U-17 ’89 Men’s National Team scored four unanswered goals to defeat the Illinois '88s, 4-1, this afternoon at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

The Illiniois ODP took the lead in the ninth minute when Isai Lemus buried one of just four shots they had on the day.

The U.S. was in control the rest of the way as Joey Sorrentino scored the next two goals, while Edgar Barajas and Anthony Wallace also scored before halftime.
