U.S. U-14 Girls' National Team ID Camp Finishes Up at Cal Poly Pomona
POMONA, Calif. (Aug. 7, 2006) - The U.S. Under-14 Girls' National Team Identification Camp finished up last Saturday at Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona, Calif.

The camp kicked off July 30 and ran through Aug. 5, with 100 girls -- 25 from each of the four regions -- taking part in training and games as the camp moved back to California after taking place in Massachusetts for the past few years.

Region II U.S. Women's National Team staff coach Mike Dickey oversaw the camp, along with the three other U.S. WNT staff coaches, Stephanie Gabbert from Region IV, Jeff Pill from Region I and Dave Rubinson from Region II.

The U-14 Girls' ID camp is one several identification processes to evaluate players for the U.S. U-15 Girls' National Development Team as the players get their first experience in a national team camp environment.
