Americans Overseas: European Preview 2006-07
CHICAGO (September 13, 2006) - Bobby Convey delivered the cross that led to the lone goal and Marcus Hahnemann notched his first EPL shutout as Reading edged Claudio Reyna and his Manchester City side, 1-0, on Monday at Madejski Stadium, giving the early edge to the Royals in an increasing number of matchups involving U.S. internationals in England.

With their second home win of the season, Reading jump to eighth place in the league table.

A hamstring injury to newly acquired DaMarcus Beasley delayed the possibility of having four Americans on the field for a Premiership match for the first time in history.
