U.S. U-14 BNT to Participate in USYS Thanksgiving Interregional  

CHICAGO, Ill. (November 20, 2006) - The U.S. Under-14 Boys’ National Team will participate in the US Youth Soccer ODP Thanksgiving Interregional from Nov. 23-27 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

U.S. head coach Manny Schellscheidt and his five assistant coaches will split the 36 players on the roster into two teams – USA Grey and USA Blue – that will compete against the four regional teams at the event.

The players and staff will arrive on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and train for two days before kicking off the event with their first games on Saturday, Nov. 25, when USA Blue will take on Region I and USA Grey will face Region IV. The following day, USA Blue will go up against Region II and USA Grey will meet Region III. On Monday, Nov. 27 the two U.S. squads will face off against each other.
