The U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team finished the 2007 Copa Chivas Tournament with a 2-3-0 record, playing all five games in a four-day span. The U.S. dropped their first two matches against Atlas (2-0) and Estudiantes de la Plata (2-0) before defeating Necaxa (2-0) in their first of two games on Feb. 5. Matt Kassel and Bobby Warshaw scored for the U.S. in the win. In their second match of the day, Bob Jenkins’ squad fell to Saprissa (1-0), but a day later the U.S. bounced back to defeat Santos (1-0) behind a goal from Greg Eckhardt in their final match of the tournament. Before returning to the U.S., the U-18s also faced Once Caldas, drawing 1-1 with the Colombian team on a goal by Cesar Romero.
