U.S. Under-15 Boys' National Team White Defeats Crossfire Premier, 1-0, Behind Luis Gil Goal  

BRADENTON, Fla. (December 9, 2007) – Luis Gil scored the only goal of the day for the U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team, leading them to a 1-0 win against Crossfire Premier. The win wrapped up the team’s participation at the 2007 Development Academy Nike Friendlies in Bradenton, Fla.

Gil’s goal came in the 69th minute when Jon-Paul Medina slotted him a ball. Gil didn’t hesitate in hitting a one-time shot into the far post, past goalkeeper Spencer Richey.

Goalkeeper Will Whiddon earned the shutout for the U.S.
