Toronto FC Scores Late to Top U-17 MNT  
BRADENTON, Fla. (Feb. 17, 2008) -- The Under-17 Men's National Team took an early lead, fell to Toronto FC, 3-1, in a scrimmage in Bradenton, Fla.

Scott Caldwell put away a rebound in the 13th minute to give the USA the lead, but Andrea Lombardo leveled the score in the 25th minute on a penalty kick.

The game remained tied until the 89th minute, when rookie defender Pat Phelan flicked the ball into the back of the net with his head. Seconds later, Jamie Watson added an insurance goal for Toronto, giving them a 3-1 victory.
