U.S. Under-18 MNT Falls to Norway at Lisbon International
LISBON, Portugal (May 21, 2008) -- The U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team fell to Norway, 2-0, in their opening match of the Lisbon International Tournament in Portugal.

The U.S. was unable to rebound from a pair of early goals, finding themselves already down two in the seventh minute. In the fifth minute, Helland played a cross in from the left side that Berget headed past U.S. goalkeeper Larry Jackson.

Two minutes later, the pair hooked up again, with Helland playing the ball to the top of the box for Berget, who brought the ball down to his feet and hit a low shot to double Norway's lead. The remainder of the game was scoreless, and Norway held on to win 2-0.

The U.S. will face hosts Portugal on May 22.
