The U.S. Under-21 Women's National Team stayed undefeated so far on its four-game tour of Brazil, tying the Brazilian Olympic Team, 0-0, in Aguas de Lindoia in the state of Sao Paulo. The result was a positive one for the young U.S. team, which got outshot 18-7, but held the powerful Brazilians scoreless.

The U.S. team defeated two Brazilian all-star teams, 4-0 and 3-2, in the first two matches. The USA finishes the tour on Saturday, May 29, once again facing the Brazilian Olympic Team that will be headed to Athens, Greece in August.  Goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart picked picked up the shutout, making seven saves during a rugged match that featured 36 fouls between the two teams.

U.S. head coach Chris Petrucelli's starting lineup featured six veterans from the USA's 2002 U-19 World Championship Team and three players who have been in with the full national team in Olympic Residency Camp this year in midfielder Joanna Lohman, midfielder Leslie Osborne and defender Amy LePeilbet, the latter of the two of which will return to full-time residency camp on Monday, May 31. Both Lohman and forward Natasha Kai had tallied in the first two matches.
