The United States Beach Soccer National Team will be conducting five Beach Soccer Player Identification Training Events from May through July, 2016, in five locations around the country (Southern California, Michigan, Virginia, Texas and South Florida).
We are using these National Team training and identification events to expand our pool of players as we prepare for the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships (being played in late 2016 or early 2017), which serve as qualifying for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in the Bahamas in April 2017
Players interested in trying out will get the opportunity to showcase their beach skills in front of the U.S. Beach Soccer National Team Staff on up to five separate weekends. Your applications will be screened and approximately 25 players will be selected to participate in each ID event.
The training sessions will be open to players who fit the following criteria:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship (valid U.S. Passport)
- 18 years of age or older
- High-level playing experience (NCAA, USL, NASL, ASPL, MASL, etc.)
- Schedule availability to commit to future training camps and international events
- Sign a participation waiver
If you are a player that would like the opportunity to represent your country at the international level (and possibly in a FIFA World Cup) this is your chance. There's no fee to attend nor any other commitment but to come to the beach, play soccer and showcase yourself.
If you care to attend any of these events, please fill out this survey.
If you have any questions, you can contact U.S. assistant coach Francis Farberoff at FrancisFarberoff@gmail.com email.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this summer.

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (April 4, 2015) – After a dominating start to the 2015 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship in El Salvador, the U.S. Beach Soccer National Team lost its final two matches on back-to-back nights to finish in fourth place in the 16-nation tournament.
On Friday, April 3, the USA faced Mexico in the semifinals in a highly-contested match that would see the winner not only advance to the championship match, but also qualify for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Mexico started strong and soon held a big lead over the USA. However, the stars and striped fought its way back to tie the matchup 3-3 with less than 10 minutes of play left. Mexico wasted no time however, and notched its fourth tally minutes later to claim the 4-3 victory and leave the USA without a World Cup spot.
The following night, the USA faced host-nation El Salvador in the third place game in front of thousands of fans. The environment proved advantageous to the locals, who finished in third place after a 5-2 effort over the U.S. side.Read more
