U.S. National Teams: Invited into U.S. Soccer’s Under-17 Residency Program in July of 2004 … Born in Ghana before moving to the U.S. with his dad  … U.S. Under-17s: Has been used mainly as a reserve forward, coming off the bench and creating havoc with his speed and balls skills … In nine career international caps, has three goals … 2005: In just 10 matches has scored five goals (tied for third on the team) … Came on as a reserve against Haiti on April 3 … 2004: Scored the game-winning goal in his first appearance with the U-17s in a 3-2 victory over Canada in Blaine, Minn., knocking home the decisive strike in the 65th minute, a few minutes after entering the match … Scored in his second appearance as well, notching the lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Canada three days later … Scored first goal in a 4-1 victory over Australia U-17 MNT on Dec. 9 in Bradenton … Scored a total of eight goals in 2004, good enough for fifth best on the team.
