U.S. National Teams: Joined U.S. Soccer’s Residency Program in the fall of 2004 … U.S. Under-17s: A quick forward who has a knack finding holes in opponent’s defense … Worked his way into a starting position not long after joining the program … 2005: Second on the team in appearances this year with 32, starting 27 of those games … Tied for fourth on the team in goals scored with eight … Recorded six assists … Has started in eight of the 10 international matches he’s appeared in this year … Scored two international goals and two assists … 2004: Appeared in 16 games, starting 10 … Fifth on the team in goals with seven despite playing in about half as many games … Notched three assists … Scored two international goals, both against Canada in a 3-1 victory on Oct. 25 in Sunrise, Fla.
