Under-23s: Provided a goal and assist in a 3-2 win over the reserve team of Atlas (Mexico) on Jan. 29 … Did not appear for the U-23s in 2003 … Appeared in five of 10 overall matches in 2002, notching one assist … Helped the U.S. finish second in the Madeira International Tournament in Portugal in February … Under-20s: Finished his U-20 career with 45 overall appearances, including 28 starts … Tallied four goals in 12 international appearances, and 13 goals overall during his two-year U-20 career … Appeared in three of four games at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship in Argentina, helping the USA finish 13th out of 24 countries

Professional: 2003: In his first year with the Dallas Burn, led the team in scoring with six goals and five assists for 17 points … Appeared in 26 matches, starting 21, and finishing with 1,910 minutes played … Acquired from the MetroStars on Jan. 17 for the first round pick in 2003 MLS SuperDraft … 2002: Appeared in 24 matches, starting 12, for the MetroStars … Was one of three MLS Rookie of the Year finalists after contributing four goals and three assists for 11 points in his first season … Selected as the #3 overall pick by the MetroStars in the 2002 MLS SuperDraft

College: 2001: Was named an NSCAA Second-Team All-American as a sophomore at Saint Louis University after leading the team in assists (14) and finishing second in scoring with 34 points (10 G, 14 A) … Led the school to an 18-2 overall record, the Conference USA title and a quarterfinal appearance in the NCAA Tournament … 2000: Was named to Soccer America’s All-Freshman team after netting 11 goals and adding six assists in 19 matches … His first-year totals were one point off the school’s freshman record set by Brian McBride … Was named Freshman of the Year in Conference USA and earned NSCAA All-Midwest Region honors.
