U.S. National Teams: Joined the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in September of 2003 … U.S. Under-20s: Has been in camp with the Under-20s ... U.S. Under-17s: Has been playing really well the past few months, making a push for the starting lineup … When he doesn’t start he is usually the first-choice off the bench … Dangerous up the right flank with blazing speed and the ability to knock in crosses … 2005: Has played in 12 international games this year, starting half … Has compiled nine goals this year and six assists … Three of the goals he scored came during international play … Coming into the FIFA World Championship on a goal-scoring streak, putting away three goals in the past four games … Scored his first goal of the year against the Super-Y All-stars ’87 in a 5-1 victory over on Jan. 29 … 2004: Played in 31 matches, coming off the bench in most as he only made 11 starts … Scored five goals overall … In international matches he played in nine, starting three … Scored his lone international goal against Ecuador in a tournament in Paraguay that provided the U.S. with a 2-1 lead before they gave up a late goal to finish in a draw … 2003: Notched one goal in 15 matches … Started in six of those 15 games … Got his first international cap against Argentina.
