A virtual unknown until 2008, Cervi’s height and athleticism give him a natural advantage in the world of goalkeeping. Those tools plus a willingness to apply himself at a higher level have helped him rise quickly through the U-23 MNT ranks. Spotted at the 2008 MLS Combine by Peter Nowak, he was immediately called into his first-ever national team training camp.
