FARO, Portugal (Saturday, March 19, 2004) - The U.S. Women's National Team recorded an authoritative 4-1 victory on Saturday at Estadio Algarve in Faro, Portugal, over arch-rival Norway to capture their third Algarve Cup championship in the last five years. The U.S. was led by Abby Wambach's second career hat trick - and the first ever for the U.S. vs. Norway.

The reigning 2003 Chevrolet Female Athlete of the Year now has 23 international goals, including nine in 2004, which matches her team leading total from all of last year. Recap the action minute by minute with ussoccer.com's MatchTracker, presented by Philips Electronics. On Tuesday, midfielder Angela Hucles scored her third goal in two games to give the U.S. a 1-0 win over Denmark.
