Former U.S. Women’s National Team forward Cindy Parlow and U.S. Soccer Women’s National Staff Coach Jeff Pill head to El Salvador on Monday, May 12, as International Sports Envoys. Parlow and Pill will conduct clinics, reaching out to as many as 800 children in rural and urban areas.
U.S. Soccer today is mourning the loss of long-time Board Member Bill Gaoziou, who passed away this morning at the age of 68 after battling emphysema. A four-term U.S. Soccer Treasurer, he had been involved in soccer as a coach and an administrator for more than 25 years.
The U.S. Beach Soccer team is in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, preparting to kick off the 2008 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship on Thursday, April 17 against Costa Rica.
