The U.S. Women's National Team defeated Costa Rica 3-0 in Cancun, Mexico to finish third in CONCACAF Women's World Cup qualifying on two goals from Abby Wambach and the opener from Lauren Cheney. The U.S. moves on to face Italy in a two leg, aggregate goals series for a place in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany.
