Kelly Cobb: Alaskan Pioneer

Rate ThisVideo

As an indicator of the growth of the women's game in the United States, Under-20 forward Kelly Cobb is the first player from Alaska to be named to a Women's World Cup Team. She loves the beauty and lifestyle of her home state and is honored to be a pioneer, representing all the female soccer players from the Last Frontier while playing for her country on the world's stage. She hopes in the future, more young girls from the 49th state will follow in her (probably snowy) footsteps.
