U.S. Soccer National Coaching Schools to Take Place in June and July
Coaching Schools Provide Opportunity to Earn a Nationally Recognized License; Current CoachesNet Members Get Priority Registration Starting Today

CHICAGO (Jan. 12, 2012) — U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Department will conduct National Coaching Schools in June and July for “A” Renewal, “A”, “B” and “C” Courses in California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts and Washington. Registration for each course will open on Tuesday, Jan. 17 after a pre-registration period for active members of CoachesNet, U.S. Soccer’s official coaches club. Current CoachesNet members will have the first opportunity to register for a summer course beginning today.
Participants at U.S. Soccer’s National Coaching Schools will have an opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from U.S. Soccer, a member of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States.
Coaches will interact with the nation’s top-level instructors, including current and former national team, professional and international coaches. The licensing programs are focused on teaching soccer coaches up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge to provide coaches with the ability to improve the everyday training environment for elite players and help them fulfill their potential as international, professional, collegiate or youth soccer players.

Registration opens on Jan. 12 for CoachesNet members and Jan. 17 for all eligible coaches. Space is limited for these select courses.
