U.S. Soccer Coaching Symposium to Be Held May 29-30 in Conjunction With U.S. MNT Match Against Five-Time FIFA World Cup Champion Brazil in Landover, Md.
“A” Licensed Coaches Can Earn Two CEUs; Coaches Will Attend a U.S. MNT Training Session and the Match on May 30 Against Brazil

CHICAGO (Feb. 10, 2012) – U.S. Soccer's Coaching Education Department will host a Coaching Symposium on May 29-30 in conjunction with the U.S. Men's National Team's match against Brazil in Washington, D.C.
The U.S. Men's National Team continues its competition against the world's top teams when they host five-time World Cup champions Brazil on Wednesday, May 30 in Landover, Md. Kickoff for the USA's first ever match at FedExField is set for 8 p.m. ET, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2, ESPN3 and Univision. Fans can also follow the match live online via ussoccer.com's MatchTracker and Twitter @ussoccer.
Registration for the symposium includes two days of educational presentations and discussions, an opportunity to observe a U.S. MNT training session, a match ticket, a pre-game reception, pre-game field access and a U.S. Soccer CoachesNet scouting and training notebook. Cost for the symposium is $250 for active U.S. Soccer CoachesNet members and $260 for non-members. Registration is open to all U.S. Soccer-licensed coaches.
The high-profile friendly takes place before the U.S. begins 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying against Antigua and Barbuda on June 8.
"This symposium will give coaches a unique opportunity to examine the USA's final preparations prior to a major international competition," said U.S. Soccer Director of Coaching Education Dave Chesler.

U.S. Soccer "A" licensed coaches will earn two "Continuing Education Units" for attending this symposium and completing a written technical component related to this match.
