Amadou Dia
Club: Real Colorado
Position: Forward
Amadou Dia scored a pair of goals during Real Colorado’s two-game road trip to the Chicago. After scoring the equalizer in his team’s 1-1 draw with the Chicago Fire Academy, Dia also tallied the second goal in his team’s 3-1 triumph against Chicago Magic. A dynamic player that is always looking to go to goal, he has now scored 9 goals in 16 games (all starts) for Real Colorado.
The win helps Real Colorado maintain pole position in the Frontier Division. In the coming weeks, they host divisional competition in the form of Sockers FC and FC Milwaukee – two teams that will be looking to pick up points in their bid for an automatic spot in the Playoffs. Real Colorado, however, will feel comfortable knowing that a number of their last games take place at home at Highlands Heritage Park located south of Denver.

Fabian Garcia
Club: Real So Cal
Position: Attacking Midfield
It was not Fabian Garcia’s stat sheet that garnered him attention, but his overall performance against LA Galaxy Academy over the weekend. Given a free role a behind the central striker, Garcia was all over the field demonstration his attacking talents. Despite Garcia’s efforts, his side fell 3-1 away to the Galaxy.
Real So Cal is still perched atop the So Cal Division, level on points with Chivas USA Academy, but also with three games in hand. With divisional games away to both Irvine Strikers and LAFC Chelsea, Real So Cal controls their own fate in their bid to gain an automatic berth to the Academy Playoffs in June.
