CHICAGO (May 31, 2005)--The U.S. Men's National Team moved operations West as they arrived Monday in Salt Lake City to prepare for their game against Costa Rica. Forward Pat Noonan, defenders Oguchi Onyewu and Frankie Hejduk and midfielder Cobi Jones all joined the rest of the squad after Saturday's friendly match against England at Soldier Field. Kickoff for the match in Salt Lake City is slated for 5:30 p.m. MT and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and delayed on Telemundo at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. Midfielder DaMarcus Beasley was elevated to active status while Onyewu joins the team after his club side Standard Liege missed out on a chance to join the UEFA Cup after falling to Racing Genk 4-3 on aggregate. Noonan, Hejduk and Jones join the squad after weekend clashes in MLS, where Noonan's New England Revolution tied 0-0 with the Colorado Rapids while the Columbus Crew fell 3-0 to the MetroStars and the Los Angeles Galaxy won 2-0 against Chivas USA.
