Benny Feilhaber Out 4-6 Weeks With Knee Injury

U.S. Men's National Team and U-23 MNT midfielder Benny Feilhaber has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee that will require surgery to repair.

CHICAGO (May 24, 2008) - U.S. Men's National Team and U-23 MNT midfielder Benny Feilhaber has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee that will require surgery to repair. Feilhaber sustained the injury on Wednesday, May 21 while playing with the Under-23 MNT against Turkey in the 2008 Toulon International Tournament. Feilhaber traveled to Los Angeles on Saturday to be evaluated by Dr. Bert Bandelbaum, and following surgery is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
