U.S. Beach Soccer Team to Face Costa Rica, El Salvador and Mexico in 2008 CONCACAF Championship
The U.S. Beach Soccer Team is set to play Costa Rica, El Salvador and Mexico in the 2008 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, from April 17-19 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

The four teams will play in a round-robin tournament, with the top two finishers advancing to the 2008 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Marseilles, France from July 17-27.
In 2007, the U.S. and Mexico advanced to the World Cup, where the US. came within seconds of advancing out of the group stage, but finished their campaign with a 1-2 record in group play, topping Iran in their second match.
