U-15 BNT Wrap Trip to Croatia With a Win and a Loss

The U.S. U-15 BNT finished a week-long training camp in Zagreb, Croatia, with two friendlies against the hosts.

The U.S. U-15 BNT returned from Zagreb, Croatia, with a win and a loss to the home team on May 10 and May 12. On Tuesday, May 10, the U.S. scored in the 10^th minute through DeAndre Robinson, but Croatia leveled the score just nine minutes later. In the second half, Jim Barlow’s team scored three times in a 12-minute span en route to a 4-1 victory. Corey Baird, Wesley Wade and Tyler Turner all scored for the U.S.

Two days later, the same two teams met again, but this time it was Croatia who got on the board first, finding the back of the net in just the 19^th minute. Bradley Dunwell leveled the score in the 35^th minute, but 15 minutes into the second half, Croatia tallied the game winner by capitalizing on a breakaway.

The U-15 BNT, currently made up of players born in 1996, will next come together in June for a training camp at The Home Depot Center.
