U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team Falls to Spain in Mexico City
The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team fell 1-0 to Spain at the Centro de Capacitación in Mexico City, Mexico.

The lone goal of the match fell in the sixth minute when Spain intercepted a pass in the U.S. defensive third. Spain’s Sergi Cano Tenes cut in at the top of the box from the right side and hit a shot about 16 yards out that curled to the left post. The ball hit the far post past an outstretched Abraham Romero and went in.
Despite dominating the majority of the second half, the U.S. was able to find the equalizer. The U.S. next faces Costa Rica on Tuesday, June 19, followed by Colombia on Wednesday, June 20.
