U-17 MNT Earns Pair of 2-0 Wins Over CASL Development Academy Teams

The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team '92/93s picked up a pair of 2-0 wins against CASL Development Academy squads on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh.

RALEIGH (Nov. 15, 2008) -- The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team '92/93s picked up a pair of 2-0 wins against CASL Development Academy squads on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh.

George Malki won a loose ball and then found the back of the net for the USA's first goal against the U-16s in the 19th minute. Eleven minutes later, Molano played a ball across for Andrew Craven, and Craven doubled the U.S. lead with the finish.

After a scoreless half  against the CASL U-18s, Soony Saad scored the opener in the 56th minute, finishing a cross from Tyler Polak to the far post. In second half stoppage time, Jack McInerney sprung John Agudelo on a through ball that Agudelo slipped into the net.
