U.S. U-17 MNT Rounds Out Buenos Aires Trip with Loss to Uruguay

The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team rounded out their schedule of international friendlies in Buenos Aires with a 1-3 loss to Uruguay this afternoon. Sebastian Lleget scored the lone goal for the U.S., which finishes the foreign training camp with a win and two losses to South American teams.

CHICAGO (March 27, 2009) -- The U.S. Under-17 Men's National Team rounded out their schedule of international friendlies in Buenos Aires with a 1-3 loss to Uruguay this afternoon. Sebastian Lleget scored the lone goal for the U.S., which finishes the foreign training camp with a win and two losses to South American teams. On March 23, the U.S. topped Bolivia 2-1 but fell to Argentina two days later.

The U.S. U-17 MNT and South American counterparts are preparing for qualifying for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The U.S. kicks off the 2009 CONCACAF U-17 Championship on April 21 against Cuba.
