Complete Schedule for 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship Unveiled

The full match schedule for the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship has been finalized and the U.S. will play Cuba on Feb. 14 and Panama on Feb 18 at Trelawny Stadium in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

CHICAGO (Dec. 22, 2010) – The full match schedule for the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship has been finalized and the U.S. will play Cuba on Feb. 14 and Panama on Feb 18 at Trelawny Stadium in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Both U.S. games in Group B will kick off at 3 p.m. local time (3 p.m. ET).

With the four groups, each made up of three teams, announced on Dec. 15, all 12 teams now know their full schedules for the event.

The top two teams in Group B will cross over to play the top to teams in Group A – which is made up of Costa Rica, El Salvador and Haiti – in the quarterfinals on Feb. 22. The winners of the four quarterfinal games will clinch a berth to the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico. As hosts, Mexico has an automatic bid to the World Cup and will not be participating in the CONCACAF event.
