U.S. Under-17 MNT to Play Canada in Friendly on Nov. 18 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team is scheduled to face the Canada Under-17 Men’s National Team in an international friendly on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. ET at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

CHICAGO (Nov. 16, 2012) – The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team is scheduled to face the Canada Under-17 Men’s National Team in an international friendly on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. ET at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The match is closed to the general public.

The U.S. has played Canada once already this year – a 2-1 victory at the AGS Cup in Spain on Oct. 4. During that match, Ahinga Selemani and Alan Winn scored in the first half as the win helped vault the U.S. into the tournament’s championship game against Mexico.

Andrew Gordon scored for Canada late in the second half.

The U.S. is gearing up for the 2012 Nike International Friendlies where the team will face Brazil, Turkey and Portugal from Nov. 28-Dec. 2 at Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
