Under-18 MNT Head Coach Bob Jenkins to Hold 24-Player Camp in New Jersey
U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team head coach Bob Jenkins has called 24 players into a week-long training camp in Somerset, N.J. from April 19-26.

CHICAGO (April 16, 2008) -- U.S. Under-18 Men's National Team head coach Bob Jenkins has called 24 players into a week-long training camp in Somerset, N.J. from April 19-26.
Most of the 24 players were born in 1991, with Madison, N.J. native Jon Aguirre and Tucson's Donny Toia the only representatives from the 1992 birth year. Five players who are graduating in May - Eder Arreola, Scott Caldwell, Bryan Dominguez, Aubrey Perry, Kofi Sarkodie - will join the camp from U.S. Soccer's Under-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla.
Of the remaining players, 12 are part of U.S. Soccer Development Academy clubs, including Kellyn Rowe and Dilon Saffle who both represent Crossfire Premier. Aguirre is one of three players from PDA along with Hunter Gorskie and Dyland Renna.
The squad will play three scrimmages throughout the week against St. John's University and local Development Academy club PDA.
The U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team was created to aid in the transition for younger players between the Under-17 Men’s National Team and the Under-20 side. The Under-18 age group is for players born in the odd-numbered years, who fall in a gap between the Under-17 and the Under-20 age groups.
