Agbossoumonde Replaces Opara on U-20 Training Camp Roster
Defender Gale Agbossoumonde will replace the injured Ike Opara at the Under-20 Men's National Team training camp in Bradenton, Fla. Agbossoumonde will join the team immediately for the camp that continues through Feb. 15.

CHICAGO (Feb. 4, 2009) -- Defender Gale Agbossoumonde will replace the injured Ike Opara at the Under-20 Men's National Team training camp in Bradenton, Fla. Agbossoumonde will join the team immediately for the camp that continues through Feb. 15.
Defender Richard Balchan has also withdrawn from the training camp for personal reasons, bringing the number of players to 25, including 10 from the professional ranks and 12 collegiate players.
After the camp, Rongen will name a 20-player squad that will regroup in Bradenton on Feb. 24 before departing for Tobago on March 2. The U.S. has been drawn into Group A of the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship and will open their campaign against Jamaica on March 6 before taking on either Honduras or St. Vincent & the Grenadines on March 8 and El Salvador on March 10.
