CHICAGO (Sept. 12, 2011) – All U.S. Soccer fans are invited to attend the U.S. Women’s National Team public training session on Friday, Sept. 16, from 5-6:30 p.m. CT at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Admission and parking are free. Fans wishing to attend the open training session are requested to register by Thursday, Sept. 15, at 12 p.m. CT by logging on to this site to RSVP: http://www.ussoccer.com/Forms/20110916-Fan-RSVP-Sept-16-Training.aspx.
Fans can park in Lot F and G. Gates will be open at 4 p.m. and fans will enter through the Sprint Gate.
The U.S. Women will face Canada on Sept. 17 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in their first match since the end of the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Kickoff is 6 p.m. CT and tickets are on sale by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Kansas City area, as well as at the stadium ticket office.

The U.S. team will also face Canada on Sept. 22 at JELD-WEN Field in Portland, Ore., in this two-game “Celebration Series.” U.S. head coach Pia Sundhage and the players are holding open trainings in both markets to thank the fans for their tremendous support this summer during the Women’s World Cup.
U.S. Soccer will send out additional information about the session via email 24 hours prior to the event to those who RSVP. All training times and locations are subject to change.
