Colorado products Gabbi Miranda and Lizzy Raben have been best friends since age 10. The two U.S. U-17 WNT defenders are thrilled to be able to share a journey of a (young) lifetime, playing together at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

Truth be told, it's very difficult, but the U-17s are showing the same discipline and dedication to their studies that helped them get to the highest levels of their sport.

The U.S. U-17 WNT is celebrating a few birthdays as it prepares for the 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship in Guatemala. To mark the occasions, the players got to hang a piñata from the crossbar during training. Candy madness ensued.

U.S. National Teams: A member of the U.S. team that won the 2012 CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championship in Guatemala and qualified for the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, she played in two games off the bench, including a late game appearance in the championship game to help the USA lock down the 1-0 victory over Canada … First call-up to the U-17s came in August of 2011.
