U-18 WNT Heads to Week of Camp at U.S. Soccer NTC

CHICAGO (Oct. 10, 2014) – The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team will come together from Oct. 18-25 at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, California, for a training camp featuring 24 players.

This is the second training camp for this age group as U-18s as the previous group has moved up to integrate into the U-20 Women’s National Team.

The core of the current U-18 WNT squad is comprised of players who will eventually compete to qualify for the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup. This age group will have another training camp this December.

U.S. Soccer Women’s Technical Director April Heinrichs will oversee this training camp and the squad will scrimmage NWSL side Beach FC on Friday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. PT.
