Under-17s: Gallardo made an immediate impact with the U-17 MNT in 2013, posting five goals and three assists in his four matches that year. His standout moment was at the 2013 Nike International Friendlies, when he recorded a hat trick during the USA’s 5-1 victory against England on Dec. 11. In 2014, Gallardo picked up right where he left off with four goals and three assists in the U-17 MNT’s first seven games of the year. However, a broken leg in the opener of Copa Mexico on Aug. 2 against China PR ended his campaign. Gallardo is fully recovered heading into the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, and he’s already back on track with a goal and an assist in three games this year. Gallardo is in the midst of his second semester in the U-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, Florida. … Under-15s: Gallardo was a member of the U-15 Boys’ National Team in 2012 and 2013.
Gallardo represented Nomads SC during the 2011-12 season in the Development Academy. In December of 2012, Gallardo then joined Monterrey’s youth system.
