U.S. U-20 MNT Learns Qualifying Schedule

The U.S. Under-20 MNT will open their 2009 World Cup qualifying campaign on Friday, March 6, taking on Jamaica at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago at 7 p.m. local time (6 p.m. ET). Thomas Rongen’s squad will face the winner of a playoff game between Honduras and St. Vincent’s & the Grenadines on March 8 at 6 p.m. and round out Group A play on Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. (6 p.m. local).

U.S. Under-17 WNT Arrives in Trinidad Ahead of CONCACAF Championship

The majority of the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team and staff arrived into Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, late Sunday night ahead of the CONCACAF Under-17 Women’s Championship. The team was welcomed to the island by the lights of the city, as well as the lights on the ships that were docked at the port.

BACOLET, Tobago (Tuesday, September 18, 2001) - U.S. striker Ed Johnson scored the last of the USA’s three goals against France on Sunday, extending his record international strike rate to 23 goals in 24 matches and 15 goals in 12 matches in 2001. Johnson ended a three-game international scoring drought with the goal, his second-longest drought without a goal at the Under-17 level. From August 12, 2000 to May 30, 2001, Johnson scored in eight of nine international matches, tallying 15 goals in that period.
