Potential Round of 16 Venue for U.S.

Should the U.S. advance to the Round of 16 at the 2002 World Cup in Korea, the team will play in one of two venues. As the first place finisher, the U.S. would remain in Daejeon, the sight of the team’s final Group D match against Poland on June 14. As the second place finisher, the U.S. would travel to Jeonju for a June 17 clash with the winner of Group G.

Agoos, 34, suffered a moderate strain of the medial gastrocnemius in his right calf during the first half of the USA's 3-1 loss to Poland last evening.
