U.S. U-23s Tie Portugal, Finish Second after 4-2 PK Shootout Loss

ABRANTES, Portugal (Thursday, January 23, 2003) - Playing in the final of the Vale do Tejo International Tournament, the U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team fell to Portugal 4-2 in penalty kicks, after playing to a 1-1 draw. With the penalty kick shootout loss, the U.S. finished second in the four-team tournament.

Portugal Beats Turkey 4-3 In Exciting Opening Match of the 2012 Nike International Friendlies

Nov. 28, 2012

Portugal and Turkey provided some offensive fireworks in the first match of the 2012 Nike International Friendlies, combining for seven total goals and six alone in the first half. Rui Moreira, who scored two goals for Portugal, netted the game-winning goal in the 50th minute.
