It’s been an incredible 18 months for U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Joe Corona. In that time, the Nomads SC product played in the Mexican second division final, helping Club Tijuana win promotion to the top tier of Mexican soccer. He scored four goals in the CONCACAF U-23 Championship, earned his first cap with the senior National Team, and this past Sunday he and his teammates competed in the championship for the 2012 Liga MX Apertura season.

U.S. Under-17 MNT Learns CONCACAF Championship Opponents, Schedule

The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team will open its CONCACAF Championship campaign against Cuba on April 21 at 4 p.m. local time (7 p.m. ET) at Estadio Caliente in Tijuana, Mexico. The U.S. will play Canada on April 23 and round out Group A play against Honduras on April 25.

The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team opened its 2009 CONCACAF U-17 Championship campaign with a 5-0 win against Caribbean champion Cuba at Estadio Caliente in Tijuana, Mexico. Forward Jack McInerney scored twice and added two assists while Luis Gil, Stefan Jerome and Sebastian Lletget each tallied once.
